IR SnapPro

Fixed mount IR SnapPro for todays modern factory
The IR SnapPro is a patented, computer-based system typically used to acquire infrared images with accurate temperature measurement from a fixed location in an industrial setting which may also be subject to harsh environments.
Competitive advantages you will receive:
- One half to one fifth the cost of other IR imaging radiometers on the market today.
- Serve multiple IR SnapPros with a single computer.
- Easy to operate.
- Easily integrated into industrial monitoring and control systems.
- Large dynamic range - measures temperatures from -20 to +350C in the same image while providing accurate imagery.
Applications include:
- Processes where products or processes are heated or cooled and temperature is a primary concern - casting, injection molding, curing, kiln operation, glass fabrication, and web processing
- Inspection and quality control
- Predictive and preventative maintenance of industrial equipment where continuous monitoring is needed
- Fire detection
- Border and perimeter surveillance
Feature overview:
- Instant turn-on, low-power, low maintenance
- High measurement accuracy, wide dynamic range, maximum image stability
- Temperature measurement at all points in the image
- Use of long wavelength infrared that is best for measuring room temperature targets and that minimizes sun glints and lighting reflection interference
- Control features that allow a customer to control a process based upon preprogrammed parameters
- Computer controlled - comes with Windows95/98/NT® compatible software that can be used to set up and control the camera remotely by either an RS-232 interface or a bi-directional RS-485 interface.
- Optional air purge keeps the lens free from dirt and debris with operation in ambient temperatures between -5 and 130F
- Housed in a rugged NEMA 4 metal enclosure with optional lens cover so that the unit can be cleaned
- Autonomous operation - once setup, the camera can operate independent of a computer.
The IR SnapPro is powered by standard 24VDC factory power. Output to a remote terminal is via an RS-232 interface or a bi-directional RS-485 data bus interface. A remote host computer is used to display, save, and analyze the imagery and also control the unit.
